At Helios™, our journey started with a vision – to create the most sustainable and clean-burning candles on the market. In 2023, we launched our first product line, setting out to replace the chemically created paraffin commonly found in traditional candles. What we discovered along the way was a formula that combined two fantastic ingredients, soy wax and candelilla, making our candles not only eco-friendly but also one hundred percent vegan.
The Key Ingredient:
Candelilla, a natural plant wax extracted from the candelilla plant, serves as a remarkable substitute for traditional beeswax. This key ingredient, along with soy wax, ensures that our candles are organic and environmentally friendly. We want people to discover the benefits of soy and candelilla wax and why they make a difference.
Looking for the Perfect Container:
Our journey to create the perfect candle didn't stop at the wax. We knew the container was just as important. Searching for the perfect container and after careful consideration, we ended up choosing tin cans, due to its infinitely reusable properties. The containers can be repurposed as planters, organizers, and can ultimately be melted down and reused. We're committed to an eco-friendly approach throughout our production process.
